We have availability to join our very successful yacht syndicate!
The syndicate:
Privately run, we are expanding our holding and acquiring another boat and therefore can take a few more members into our group.
The boats:
The syndicate currently owns a Beneteau 331 (34 foot), she’s a 2003 model with all the mod cons.
The syndicate also plans to acquire a late model 40-45 foot production boat (Beneteau, Jeanneau, Dufour etc).
How it works:
The 34 foot vessel is in Port Phillip and/or Western Port all year round. Occasionally a member can take her to Wilson’s Prom, King Island for short hops.
The larger vessel will spend six months of winter north (Sydney to Cairns), and be returned to Melbourne for peak summer usage.
Members:
The syndicate will have a total of eight members, so everyone gets pretty good usage of both boats.
Cost:
Flat fee of $50,000, you will then own 1/8 share in the two boats.
Ongoing usage / maintenance of vessels is divided 1/8 at cost.
